Leo is retired from his position as Vice-President of the Chicago Federation of Musicians, Local 10-208. Prior to becoming an officer of Local 10-208, Leo worked as a drummer/percussionist in the Chicago area. He has subbed and recorded with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and worked backstage with the Lyric Opera Orchestra. He worked in theater pits for various Broadway shows, in the downtown theaters as well as the suburban theaters. He has played corporate and private events throughout his professional career. He has performed in orchestras accompanying various artists including: Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis,Steve and Eydie and Frank Sinatra Jr.
