ABOUT R & R
R & R is jointly led by trumpeter Markus Rutz & pianist Adrian Ruiz.
The two form the core of the band as a duo that expands to a trio also.
Working together for 9 years, Rutz & Ruiz (R & R) have performed, recorded and otherwise collaborated on stages, at venues, in the recording studio and for The Rose Rhapsody, a podcast from the Rose Theatre based in Washington DC.
Recordings under Markus include duets of the two playing original compositions such as Very Marie, Shipmates & Looking Out Windows creating a signature ballad sound of the band.
