This page contains historic documents that the union is digitizing from our archives.  James C. Petrillo was of historic importance both as a long-serving president of Local 10 and later Local 10-208 after the merging of the segregated locals.  He also was a very influential president of the AFM International.

Below is a file containing historic correspondence, including telegrams from Presidents Roosevelt, Truman, and Reagan as well as responses from Mr. Petrillo.  Also included are a file of editorial cartoons that Mr. Petrillo cherished, most in reference to the recording musicians strike of 1942.  Enjoy!
