ABOUT Cielito Lindo Family

With a fresh look and youthful energy, the Lucero family plays traditional mariachi instrumentation to perform both traditional and non traditional music of Mexico, Latin America and the United States. As a family mariachi, they perform for restaurants, quinceaneras, romantic serenades and wedding proposals. These 4th generation musicians range in age from 9 to 20 and perform regularly for audiences at Chicago Bulls games, music festivals, and stations like WGN, and Univision. In 2019 the family performed the United States national anthem for 62K soccer fans at Soldier Field for Chivas vs. Club America. Just a few months later, the family was selected to compete on Nickelodeonś nationwide talent search ¨America’s Most Musical Family¨. Most recently the family was invited to perform at Lolapalooza 2022.

The family’s music story began in 2006 when the two eldest boys (then 3 and 4) began singing with their father and his band at a local farmers market. In 2015 this large family relocated from New Mexico to their mother's hometown Chicago, IL. Since moving to Chicago, the Lucero family supports themselves 100% through the arts and performs regularly.

¨We are passionate about inspiring family to enjoy music, culture, and self expression together.¨
